David Miller

boys’ HEAD coach

Coach David Miller was born and raised in Long Beach, California. He graduated from Millikan High School in 2017. He attended Southwestern University for two and a half years before transferring back home to Long Beach City College in the winter of 2019.

Coach Miller started playing lacrosse when he was in the sixth grade at Beach Cities Youth Lacrosse and instantly fell in love with the sport. In high school, Coach Miller was a 4X all-star in high school and led his team in points in his junior and senior year.

During his junior year in high school, Coach Miller started coaching because he loved being around the sport and thought that it would be easy money. However, he quickly came to a realization that he enjoyed coaching at a much deeper level than he ever thought possible. Coach Miller saw that he could make a positive impact on people’s lives by sharing the skills he has acquired as well as being able to offer life advice when they need it. “I have probably learned more from the players I've coached than I could have ever learned on my own,” says the coach. He has now coached lacrosse for almost six years (as of March 2020).
