The program

ESPN has declared Long Beach Poly High School to have one of the top ten sports programs in the nation. In 2005, Sports Illustrated Magazine named Polytechnic the “Sports School of the Century,” applauding its badminton, baseball, basketball, football, track, cross country, swimming, water polo, tennis, golf, soccer, and softball teams. Long Beach Poly has also sent more players to the NFL than any other high school in the country (60). And now, we hope to expand this greatness in tradition to lacrosse.

Lacrosse is a fun and fast-moving sport that instills the mindset of success. Here at Long Beach Poly High School, players in grades 9-12 play in the spring season against other schools in the Long Beach Unified School District, as well as schools in the Greater Los Angeles area as they compete in the Moore League. At the Home of Scholars and Champions, the Jackrabbits will be prepared and encouraged to ‘go forth and serve’ as the school motto declares.

Supported by the Long Beach Poly Lacrosse Booster Club, the team is able to play with appropriate gear and materials to succeed. Please support our team by following our social media pages.
